Jenny Chow Whitten Principal and owner of Roost Studio Architecture

Jenny is the Principal and owner of Roost Studio Architecture based out of Powell River, BC. She has over 15 years of professional design and building experience in BC and around the world. The majority of her experience has been in multi-family housing and tenant improvements. Jenny has contributed to, in design and project management, many award winning buildings in BC. She was born and raised in Vancouver, but now calls Powell River her home.

Her experience covers many scales, from small tenant renovations to 52 storey residential towers. Jenny was part of the team at Dialog Architecture who is behind the construction of the Vancouver House, a world renowned project designed by BIG Architecture, with a $250 million budget. Most recently she was a store design project manager at Aritzia, a retail company, completing the construction of 15 stores across North America. While at Gair Williamson Architects, Jenny led various multi-family residential projects including a 29-unit, 3-storey building in Vancouver’s Railtown. Currently, with Roost Studio Architecture, Jenny is leading the design and construction of Sunset Homes Society’s 34-unit affordable housing project in Powell River.

Jenny has an exceptional track record of reaching deadlines and staying on budget through well planned and thorough execution.

Jenny is a registered architect with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia.  She is currently the principal at Roost Studio Architecture Inc.
